Initial Interview
If you are identified as a potential candidate, and you meet all qualifications for the role, you will hear directly from a representative from our recruiting team. They will schedule an initial screening conversation with you, either face-to-face or via phone. The screen will last approximately 30 to 45 minutes. After your initial interview, the information gathered will be assessed by the representative. If there seems to be a good potential for success, your resume and the initial interview evaluation will be presented to the hiring manager(s) for additional consideration.
Technical Screen
Should the position be highly technical in nature, you may be contacted following the initial interview with a request to speak with an additional members of our technical team. They will ask a series of questions designed to further evaluate your technical knowledge and skills, as they relate to specific expectations for the role.
Onsite Interview
When a hiring manager expresses an interest, we will ask you to visit with us in person at the job site location. In most cases, you will meet at least one representative from our recruiting group, as well as three to five individuals from our business who are generally hiring managers or team members of the group in which you are being considered for a role.

Each interview meeting will last about 45 minutes. You should be prepared to answer both general questions about your background, as well as specific questions that will detail projects you have worked on or situations you have encountered in your previous employment. Try to provide as much detail as possible in your responses (i.e.: I worked on this project with these individuals, encountered this problem, solved it this way and then received this kind of feedback).
Offer
After your onsite interview with us has ended, Flint Hills Resources representatives will meet to determine the results of your interview. Typically, you will receive communication of whether an offer will be extended within two weeks of your interview. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
